Aside from labels and controversy, a useful way to view diagnoses, is to recognize the value a diagnosis can have in the treatment process. Accurate diagnosing is a necessary start and ongoing process in treatment. It is important for clinicians to understand the specifiers, diagnoses, and assessment measures specific to the diagnoses they commonly treat. This program will provide information to assist clinicians with diagnosing personality disorders.
Upon conclusion of this program, participants should be able to...
1. Discuss clinical presentations for each personality disorder
2. Describe developmental, cultural, and differential considerations for each personality disorder
