Motivational Interviewing is a person-centered counseling style that has shown effectiveness with client change and specifically addresses ambivalence, which is a common experience of substance abuse, suicidal ideations, self-injurious behavior, and more. This training is designed for professional counselors, school counselors, social workers, marital and family therapists, psychologists, addiction counselors, case managers, nurses, and other health care professionals.
To obtain the certificate of completion for the 1.5 hours associated with this online recorded program, the participant will need to purchase the online training, view the entire video, review the provided resources and documents then email a completed post-test and optional evaluation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Participants passing the post-test with a minimum score of 70% will receive a certificate of completion.
Each program offered designates the number of clock hours. Be sure to check with your professional board as they will specify how many CE/CEU hours are equal to one clock hour (e.g., 1 CEU = 50 minutes).
The content of this event may meet requirements for continuing education for most national, state, and local licensing boards and professional organizations.
