Course Description

Within these complex contemporary times, it is not unusual for the challenges of providing effective psychotherapeutic service to go unaddressed. Many clients are currently experiencing more pain, suffering and overwhelming stress. Additionally, some psychotherapists are often unaware of how much personal and professional suffering and stress they are holding when working with clients. This workshop will address how the fundamentals and practices of mindfulness and self-compassion can be integrated into some of the processes of psychotherapy to cultivate greater stress reduction, coping abilities, self-kindness, improved emotional well-being and resiliency.
