Information will only be stored for purposes of course registration, follow up communication related to the course (i.e., cancellation, sending handouts), future marketing emails (which may be opted out at any time), or as required by state or national organization relating to course approval for continuing education. Participant's/Learner’s information stored or used for these purposes will be the minimal information only. If you have specific questions or concerns about how your information will be used, please email [email protected].

Cancellations & Refunds (In-Person/Live Webinar Courses):  Registration cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] and are accepted up to 14 days prior to the scheduled course.  A refund for the course fee will be issued minus a $25 cancellation fee per registration/person.  In lieu of cancelling their registration, participants/learners may also transfer their registration fee to another course based on seat availability and a cancellation fee will not be charged.  Refunds are not issued for cancellations received less than 14 days prior to the scheduled course.  If a course cannot be held due to reasons beyond Institute for Psychological Advancement 's control (e.g., weather), refunds will not be issued; however, the course will be rescheduled.  If a participant/learner cannot attend the course on the rescheduled date, participants/learners may transfer their registration fee to another course based on seat availability or a refund will be issued.

Institute for Psychological Advancement reserves the right to cancel a course up to 10 days prior to the scheduled course, with full registration refund, if insufficient numbers of participants/learners have registered for the course.

If a course is cancelled for any reason, participants/learners will be notified by email.  An email address will be required at the time of registration.  It is the participant's/learner’s responsibility to notify Institute for Psychological Advancement of any changes to their email address by emailing [email protected]

Reasonable Accommodations:  It is the responsibility of the course participant/learner to notify Institute for Psychological Advancement if they have a disability or request for accommodations and to cooperate in the interactive process to determine what reasonable accommodations can be provided.  Institute for Psychological Advancement will act in accordance with the law and provide reasonable accommodations that appropriately provide equal access to the courses it offers.  Please send requests to [email protected] at least one (1) week prior to the in-person scheduled course or live webinar to allow for time to act on requests and ideally before purchase for online courses.

Course Attendance Verification (In-Person Courses):  Course facilitator will provide a sign in sheet at the course site.  It is the participant's/learner’s responsibility to sign in upon arrival to the course (before the start of the course) and to sign in after lunch (only applicable to some courses).  It is expected that the participant/learner only sign-in and accept a certificate of attendance if they have attended the full scheduled in-person course.

Course Attendance Verification (Live Webinar Courses):  It is expected that the participant/learner will only accept a certificate of attendance if they attended the full scheduled webinar course.  Participant's/Learner's will be required to submit their attendance online, by entering or confirming the attendance code words provided at the beginning and end of the webinar, to receive a certificate of completion.

Course Completion Verification (Online Courses):  Course completion will be verified with a passing score of 75% on the post-test provided with each training.  It is expected that the participant/learner will only accept a certificate of completion for an online course if they completed the course and post-test themselves.
